Sad News Again - Mike Meierhoff - May 17, 2008
We mourn the death of Mike Meierhoff who passed away in Portland, Oregon, May 17, 2008 after a long battle with cancer. He had hoped to attend the reunion last summer but was too weak from the treatment then to travel. He had also spoken of visiting the Highland Park area this spring to visit old friends. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, June 21 in Powell Butte Nature Park.

I will miss Mike. He was a great photographer, a great friend, and a great person. I worked with Mike, and he was meticulous, and very good at everything he did. I learned a lot about photography from Mike, and will always think of him every time I use my camera.
